Politician Testing

So I was at a meeting with a guy running for Governor here and he said that the government officials should do a pilot test for a year and use the proposed healthcare plan for themselves and then in a year (or however long) Come and tell us what they thought. I thought that was an interesting idea. I wouldn't mind seeing that even though it would still be different when millions are living with the plan. I also think that EVERYONE including government officials should have to abide by the same rules as the general public. Why don't they have to take part in social security and the like? What do you think?
